Intimate Chicago Wedding with Abby and Holden
On December 28, 2020 two intentional, kind, and passionate people got married. Their original wedding date was in March, but they decided to change the date to December about a month before. They had one month to plan a wedding, and it was intimate, deep, and honestly one of the most moving wedding days I have had the honor to attend.
Abby and Holden chose their closest friends and family to join in their wedding day celebrations. They decided to meet me at the Garfield Park Conservatory for their first look with their bridal party. As a Midwest Photographer, it is incredible to photograph somewhere that isn't a field, and the Garfield Park Conservatory is one of the most beautiful places I have been able to work. (Now a staple every time I go to Chicago.)
The conservatory was the perfect backdrop for Abby and Holden to start their wedding day, green and full of life, but it is the people that make the place. I don't think I have every cried tears of joy so much on a wedding day. Sincere, generous, loving, and more. Abby and Holden's day was so full. It filled up my empty cup and reminded me why I do this work. I am so honored to have been able to document this season of life for them and would go back to experience it in a heartbeat!
