As a photographer, there is nothing as special as documenting your loved ones. Jenna and Matthew fall into the category of some of my very favorite people. Jenna, my oldest friend, the person who taught me to play guitar, harmonize and make every day full of whimsy and magic, married her best friend, Matthew on October 18th. Matthew is one of a kind. Funny, warm, and full of wit that can only be matched by Jenna herself. Together, these two have the most hilarious banter partnered with big big love. (Cue the tears, again!)
After a 9 year career photographing countless celebrations, documenting this day for Jenna, one of the first people to believe in me as an artist, was truly so moving. It was a reminder of why I document weddings. Jenna and Matthew’s day felt like a warm hug, a head thrown back in laughter, and your favorite songs soundtracking a roadtrip.
